Dear patrons and guests of my Patreon!

Many of you might want to translate my (or other) mods into your languages, but don't know how... It's super easy! There are various tools for this.

I prefer the Online STBL Studio from Frankk: https://stbl.sims4toolkit.com

With "UPLOAD WORKSPACE" you can open your existing translation projects (if you have saved any previously). So this isn't relevant to you if you haven't worked with it before.

If you've never worked with this before, first go to "NEXT" and then select "UPLOAD PROJECT":

Then select the package file that contains the strings you want to translate:

Click on “NEXT” again.

Some mods have multiple package files. You should check all of them to see if they contain strings. Not all package files contain strings, but a mod may have multiple strings packages.

Click on “NEXT” again.

Give your project any name you want ("PROJECT NAME"). This name has no influence on the translation or the file. This is just for you, so that you know later which project this is if you have several projects and want to improve or add to a translation.

Please do not change the values for “GROUP”, “INSTANCE” and “PRIMARY LOCALE”! These are advanced settings, please stay away from them!

Click on “NEXT” again.

Only select the languages into which you are translating. Then click on “CREATE”:

Your translation project is created! You can now start translating:

Select "Translate" from the menu and choose the language you want to translate into:

Translate the strings and download the package file:

Select "DOWNLOAD AS STRING TABLE" and the language ("LOCALES") you translated into. Please do not change the "NAMING CONVENTION" parameter. Then click “DOWNLOAD”:

If you have translated into multiple languages, you will need to repeat this process several times, selecting the required language each time.

Then send me the downloaded file and I will add it to the mod. Feel free to post the file on my Disord in the Translations Section.
