My Situation (Changes in 6 Months) (Patreon)

Hey everyone. I have an announcement about stuff that may happen in 6 months or so.

For those of you who haven’t heard, I have muscular dystrophy. I’m starting to get to the point where I tremble when I draw due to muscle weakness (my joints are fine, fortunately). I have about 6 months before I lose my ability to draw assuming a new treatment or cure doesn't come first. I have mentally been preparing myself for this for a year so I should be okay. Taking all this into consideration, Pan still has the body I am going to tirelessly try to achieve when I have a cure for this.

I am forever grateful for your support and I hope a cure comes soon so I’m not on hiatus too long.

To ensure I am safe in the case that this does go south in the next 6 months, I also will be applying for a new full time job to make sure I can afford my medical bills and get the healthcare I need.

However, Patreon will still be running and changes should be minimal. I'll outline changes below for when I start my new job and/or if lose my ability to draw.

Plans for Patreon

Below are different scenarios of how this could go.

Scenario 1: New Job

Supercharged will be running - including cameos, of course. I will also be doing a lot of fanart and personal artwork.

> $3, $5, & $10 Tiers: Unaffected :3
> $20 Tier: Closed if I get the job (non-priority commissions also closed)
> $100 Tier: Status dependent on what I get paid at Google
> $200 Tier: Closed if I get the job

Scenario 2: Losing the Ability to Draw & Job

If I lose the ability to draw in 6 months as I predict, I will "Unlaunch" my Patreon so you are not charged during this period (your pledge will remain but you will not be charged - try to stay pledged though ;w;). I will restart my Patreon once I have a better treatment or a cure and can draw once again which could be between 12 to 24 months or more. Cameos for Supercharged will still be honored.

Anyways, no changes will be made yet and I will keep you guys posted on what happens when we get there. As always, I will make sure rewards are delivered and I will not just flip a switch.
