Hey everyone!

I hope you're having a great day. I am currently having a dilemma, myself. Riding Lessons has been a year long comic project so far featuring Dante being taught how to ride a motorcycle (among other things) by Chase. I have finished 13 pages and have another page in the works right now. My dilemma is whether I should pause the project or continue it.

My main concerns are:

  • My life is about to get more expensive since I am beginning to budget for body building AND trying to make art my full time gig which will entail funding my own health insurance and 401k). Pausing the project would give me more time to take commissions and increase my income.
  • I am burning myself out with comic work right before I start the paid projects for the rest of the month. I do not want to compromise quality of my other work -- especially commissions. And to be 100% transparent with you guys, I also am losing interest in the story.

What I can do if I take a break from the Riding Lessons project is:

  • increase KoJ slots and/or take more commissions which affects all tiers (especially the Panther Prince $20 tier)
  • pretty much guarantee alt versions of all fanart pix and personal art
  • post more content for you all to look at instead of a single comic page per month.

If I do pause the project, these things will start to happen in September as I am going on vacation between the 24th and the 31st of this month. Again, I thank you for your input on this. I appreciate all your support through the last years.

So my question for you guys is if Pan cancels or pauses the Riding Lesson's comic for an extended period of time,... select an answer below
