It's been a while since a game has captivated me as much as Baldur's Gate 3. Let me tell you, in Acts 1 and 2, I tried to complete every quest I could find and thoroughly explore the entire map. However, in Act 3, I left some quests behind because some were too challenging (like searching for body parts all over the city), or I couldn't even find the starting points for others. I really enjoyed the quest in Act 3 that continues from Act 1 (if you choose accordingly) and the reward for that quest. There have been criticisms that Act 3 rushes toward the end too quickly and that the story becomes boring, partially true because you can essentially complete two main quests and reach the finale. However, the side quests expand on these main quests. For example, destroying a certain place and fighting one boss will make it much easier to reach him.

During my playthrough, I couldn't complete some quests because two potential companions died... There were moments that really moved me, and tears welled up. I won't tell you exactly when it happened, but I think you'll figure it out when you start playing.

An additional problem with Act 3 was the books, notes, and maps displaying "[]" instead of content. On the downside, the optimization in Acts 3 and partially in Act 2 needs improvement. There were moments when the game froze so badly that I had to restart it, and then the problem disappeared for two hours and came back again. From what I know, a patch has already fixed these issues, so I'll definitely revisit it for a second playthrough soon.

In summary, I would give this game a 10/10. I can't remember the last time any game has captivated me to the point where I played 9-hour sessions daily. According to my save file, I have 160 hours, but that doesn't take into account multiple reloads of a single battle until I finally won it. I completed the game with Karalch, Shadowheart, Astarion, and Gale, with Gale being alternately selected with Karalch as companions since others unfortunately perished.
