Hello hello! Here is the time-lapse speedpaint🖌️ with music for : Cat Cafe 

This is the piece that I created for our latest tutorial Building up a Drawing from Simple to Complex  where I bring you along through the process of starting with a simple sketch and composition and then build it up to a more complex scene.  For a more detailed explanation about the process, definitely check out that tutorial!!

A bit of other background info on this piece

You know how some people get "baby fever," where they desperately start wanting a baby?  Well replace "baby" with "fur baby" or "cat" and that's where I am right now.  

So, when imaginging what kind of scene I would create for this piece, it didn't take too long to decide on some sort of cat cafe.  

What a fun location to draw!  It would be fun to draw more magical cat cafes and see how each could be a bit different.  In this one, it feels fairly airy but cozy and clearly there are witches, but I think it would be fun to really push the magical elements in another scene if I were to draw a magical cat cafe again.

As I mentioned in the tutorial, this piece did give me a little bit of trouble, especially early on.  It may be because I was just in a bit of a creative slump or art block, where things just didn't seem to be coming out right, if that makes sense.  It happens sometimes, and when it does I just try and continue on to push through it and trust that it will pass.
