✨New Art//Queen of Swords {soft NSFW warning on some images} (Patreon)

Okay, I'll be honest with you guys... I didn't actually start this piece imagining she would be the queen of swords from tarot.  I just wanted to draw a cool girl holding a sword to color for our latest color harmony tutorial!  lol  

SO, when (yes, WHEN because I do someday want to make a tarot deck) I go back and draw more tarot designs, I may do a completely different design for the queen of Swords.  But for now, I like how this piece turned out!  

It was a little tough to choose the color scheme since I did some other interesting color combos for the colors tutorial, and was so tempted to complete multiple versions.  Buuuut then I'd be working on this piece forever and there's just too much to do to noodle on it for too long!  

I did included a "dropped blues" version, which I always find kind of interesting.

It's nothing new, but I feel like I've been in constant catch up mode, just trying to knock stuff off of my to do list and there hasn't been time to breathe and plan for future personal projects.  Things are okay of course, but I'm hoping that later this year, maybe end of summer, some space will free up in my schedule so that I can start seriously looking at projects like making a tarot deck.  

For now, though, maybe I just need to start by doing a one off design like this here and there!
