Hello my lovelies!  Here is the time-lapse speedpaint🖌️ with music for : Underworldly Romance 

A Little About the Process:

When I started the sketch for this piece, I decided to draw each character on a separate layer.  I do that sometimes when there are multiple characters in a composition, in case I need to adjust a character's position or pose and don't want to move the other character.  But once the characters were posed about how I liked them, I drew the lineart all on one layer.

Throughout this piece, I was never quite satisfied with how Hades looked until the very end.  This piece definielty felt like it had a very long "ugly stage" and I had to trust the process and that it would turn out looking okay.

Once the shadows were mostly placed, I think a step that really helped make the piece start to come together was near the end when I created a new OVERLAY layer on top of the character layers, and with a soft brush, I started painting in some overall color pops.  Some light teal to highlight their faces, and some dark red and blues to push some of the edges into shadow.

I hope you guys like how they turned out! 

In this first week of January I have been trying to get somewhat organized and caught up on some things (how successful I've been at that is questionable! lol)  Organization has always been a huge challenge for me, but I have a very fancy planner and am trying to use it.  I've never used a planner in my life! Do you have any organization tips that help when you are juggling a lot?
