The sweet scent of incense tickled Isobel's senses, and the soft chanting of magical words inscribed on the aged pages of the book of power enveloped her. She began to drift into a trance, her eyes closing as a cool breeze ruffled her hair. Immersed in absorbing the secret knowledge, she no longer felt the cold. Time ceased to register, and after what might have been a few moments or a few eons, her eyes suddenly snapped open. They glowed with newfound power and hidden knowledge  that hadn't been there before.

Hello hello my darlings! 🌟 I had to do a piece of Isobel again before October was through! 

Bringing you another grayscale inky style piece. There's something about these grayscale pieces that take me right back to my teenage years of reading manga. I remember absolutely adoring the black and white Japanese comics growing up, and would actually feel a little bit disappointed when there would be a colored page insert, or if I picked up a manga and it happened to be in full color. 

Don't get me wrong, you know I LOVE colored art, but I think I was attached to the black and white because grayscale allows your own imagination to fill in the 'perfect' colors to you. Maybe... I also just love the look of black and white. It feels so dramatic! Haha! 😄

ANYWAY! I hope you like her and don't mind another black and white piece for now! 🖤✨🎨
