One of my goals for this goddess was to do a water goddess that would kind of fit in with Mermay.  So although she isn't technically a mermaid, I tried to give her a pose that felt a little bit mermaid ish, with her legs together covered by the cloth which flows down into the water in almost a mermaid tail shape.  The idea was to hint at the idea but not make it too explicit.  I think that was pretty successful.

Part way through the coloring process, I debated on making the background a darker turquoise.  I think the color scheme kind of reminded me of some of the elden ring imagery, which was cool, and it made her stand out a lot.  But after getting some feedback from other artists, I decided to go back to the lighter version because it helped her feel a lot more integrated with the environment then the darker color scheme.

Anyway, enjoy!  I'm really happy that she has gotten such a good response, especially since she will be my last Goddess for a little while and I'll be moving on to Zodiacs (thanks for voting in the poll to help decide our next series btw!). 

 For the Zodiacs, I think I will plan to just start with the current Zodiac and see how quickly I can get through them all.  Its likely that the feeling of the Zodiac pieces will be similar to the Goddesses, but I want to explore if I can add a slightly different twist to them so they don't feel exactly the same.
