The Moirai or Fates were three sister deities, daughters of Nyx, and were incarnations of destiny and life. Their names were Clotho, the one who spins the thread of life; Lachesis, the allotter who dispensed the thread of fate; Atropos, who cut the thread, thus determining the individual's moment of death.
Oomigoodness... I'm not gonna lie, it took me a while to get into this piece.  I think I have been placing more and more expectations on each new artwork, and it has been freezing me up a little bit.  That was especially true with this one.  BUT once I had a good color scheme in mind I felt inspired to work through and finally finish it!  I really like how these sisters of fate turned out!
I also hope that you can feel some of their relation to Nyx in their designs.  Safe to say, I think they inherited the Goddess of Night's eyes.

Is it bad that I tend to prefer your clothed versions? 😂 I love myself some titties, but I adore the way you do your clothing and character design. The clothing just tends to be a part of the character design. Also, easier said than done, but try not to worry. You're doing great work! I get feeling like each new piece needs to be better than the last or that it has to add something to the collection, but sometimes, it's okay if it's not. I appreciate that you've been doing the more simple, hopefully less pressure portraits as well, like the unseily fae. Not everything you make has to be groundshattering; in fact, some of what you make *has* to be crap by statistical inevitably. I feel like we all forget that. 💙 There's no good and bad. Just good and practice.

Haha, I don't think it's bad. I imagine there are a fair number of people that would agree with you when it comes to the clothed vs unclothed. It is kind of funny though because I usually draw the clothes on afterwards so the dress designs are a little bit of an afterthought, although I really enjoy painting the drapy fabric. I like both versions, so I'm happy to continue doing both. And totally! On an intellectual level its easy enough to understand that not ever artwork needs to be better then the last. In fact, as you said, it is kind of impossible! Hard to remember that all the time though. Thank you so much for the reminder and the encouraging words!
