The time-lapse with commentary for both for this artwork of Medusa.

In this video I talk a bit about learning that you can draw anything and using reference.  I hope it might be encouraging for someone out there or maybe I just keep you company for a bit while you work!

Also, just a heads up that because I originally draw these goddesses classically nude version first and then paint clothes on top, this process video is mild NSFW

Update: I also just wanted to apologize for being quiet for the past few days.  I spent much of my weekend in the hospital getting some tests done on  a weird stomach thing.  Good news is that nothing immediately threating was found and I'm home now.  Bad news is that I'm still dealing with a fair amount of on and off pain as I wait for my next appointment.  So I'm trying to balance getting everything done and also resting.

I don't think this will delay any content, especially since I had a pretty productive start to the month, but I may be a little less active on social media.

  • The next things on my list are the: Adding more Emotional Impact to Your Art Article and a new Goddess Athena artwork!
  • Oh! Also heads up that the prints and stickers for current August patrons were sent out yesterday, so they should be on their way to you!

    ♥Enjoy♥

This was such a good watch! I'm sorry to hear you have tummy problems, I have Crohn's so I can relate. Hope you feel better soon and have a good hot water bottle. 💜

Aww! Thank you! And I'm so glad you like her! Things are looking up today so I think I am on the mend hopefully!

So glad you liked the video! And thank you! Tummy problems are pretty exhausting, especially when it is chronic. Oof! With some medication it seems to be looking better today so hopefully I'm on the mend.
