🌟Art Pack 43 Summary//2020 Recap (Patreon)

Hello hello!  

I hope your December has been nice!  As for me, even though I have been off of my day job for much of the month, I have managed to keep busy with art and video stuff!

I thought for this art pack summary/newsletter I would list out a recap for the year and in a post closer to New Years, I'm going to write down some goals for 2021.... but for now The 2020 recap!

I hope this doesn't sound too much like tooting my own horn, but after such a drag of a year, it is kind of nice to take a moment to see everything that was accomplished.... and actually 2020 was pretty big for me!

2020 CHRISSA RECAP

🌟 Content

• We started making Stickers this year here on Patreon!  Yes, that only started earlier THIS year!
  
• Started publishing monthly Articles here on Patreon!   (It seriously makes my day whenever I hear they have been helpful to you guys!)
  
• Started including process steps for each new artwork as an extra reward here on Patreon.
  
• Started streaming again on Twitch after a couple years of not streaming at all and have managed to keep a regular schedule ALL YEAR (even if it has been only one day a week)
  
• Finally started a Youtube Channel, although only managed to make a few public videos.  (you do have some private links to some private timelapse videos here on patreon btw, if you scroll back through the videos tag.)
  
• Did some cool collabs with companies like, Wacom, Clip Studio Paint, XP-Pen, and Huion!

🌟Art PROGRESS

•  I have focused on trying to make more "full illustrations", meaning even though the main feature is still the character, I try and add more environment and sometimes story around them.  
  
• Art-Process: I have started trying to simplify my process so that I am no longer using 1 million and 1 layers and instead have started taking a more organic painting approach.  And it has been SO REFRESHING!
  
• For my "job-job" I have been drawing more and more stuff outside of my usual content and style and in doing so have expanded my confidence in being able to draw most anything as long as I have good reference and enough time.
  
• I have started playing with more interesting lighting and shading.  I don't think I'm "there" yet in terms of my lighting skills, but I have started to see some progress.
  

🌟Numbers 

(Even though they aren't the most important, I am still fascinated by numbers when it comes to "growth", so I'm gonna go ahead and list them)

•  In one year back on Twitch we have managed to grow the viewership from 23 in December 2019 to 100+ average viewers in December 2020.  
  I'm seriously floored by this!  I don't know if I ever expected over 100 people to watch my channel live... but I am very humbled and grateful!  omg!
  
• Grew on Instagram from 50k in December 2019 to 125k this December
  (Okay, technically I am still just below 125 but I think we'll get there before the end of the year)  
  
• Our Patreon fam has grown from 61 in December 2019 to 230+ in December 2020!
  HOLY GUACAMOLE!  That is some crazy growth that I hadn't anticipated and all I can say is THANK YOU so so much!  
  
  I still have a lot that I want to accomplish and a long way to go but You guys are such a driving force in my journey!  You make me believe this crazy dream of creating art and content independently full time is possible!  I hope that I can make more and more helpful and enjoyable content for you in the year to come!! ❤️❤️❤️

When will I get these rewards?  Most digital rewards can be downloaded in their respective artwork's post OR you can wait for the Link and Code to Digital Rewards is Posted between the 1st and the 5th of January, after pledges have been processed!  

When will I get the Print rewards? I ship physical rewards by the 10th of the month from Sweden.  Just a heads up that with the epidemic going on, the postal services in many countries have been taking longer then usual for rewards to arrive.
