Important update to Pledge Processing! (Patreon)

Hi guys! I just wanted to give you a quick heads up to a little change here that mostly should not affect current patrons BUT it’s good to know about.

I have switched this Patreon page to be a pay upfront page. That means that when a new patron pledges, their pledge will be charged right away and then after that, future pledges will be charged as normal (on the first couple days of the month).

The cool thing about this, is that when a new patron pledges, I can send them rewards from the most recently completed art pack right away, which I would hope is a good thing for patrons. It’s also a good thing for me because it reduces the amount of fake pledges.

❗️The one thing to keep in mind for current patrons is when it comes to editing your pledge.

Now if you upgrade your pledge, Patreon will charge the difference either right away or at the end of the month. (The Patreon article about this has 2 different answers in 2 places so I’m not sure which is correct)

So if you decide you wanted to upgrade from the $2 tier to the $10 tier, Patreon would charge $8 .

I get notifications when pledges are edited, so I would send you a message and mail you whatever rewards went with your upgraded tier from the previous art pack. But I just wouldn’t want this charge to come as a surprise to you if you were hoping to wait until the upcoming month to upgrade.

Not much will change here but I just wanted o make sure you all were aware of the update!
