🌑The "Dark Moon" or "New Moon" holds a calm and mysterious energy in the lunar cycle. It is a powerful time for inner work and transformation. It provides a time to reset and refresh with new intentions and new beginnings. The dark moon is also perfect cleansing and divination to seek insights into what is to come in the upcoming lunar cycle.

Happy slightly  late new moon. (it was yesterday!)

As I was looking through my calendar a couple days ago I noticed that the new moon was coming up and immediately this image roughly flashed in my mind. A piece to represent and celebrate the dark moon.

I draw a lot of crescent moon pieces because the shape of a crescent moon is so appealing, bu tI haven't actually done much artwork to celebrate other phases of the moon.

  Well, why not start with the NEW moon! I would love to do a sister piece to this for the full moon as well!. It would be such a cool set!
