Modding Diary - New Hospital Bed (Patreon)

Hi Guys! 

I hope you all had a fantastic week!😍

Most of you probably already know, but in case if you dont, the horse ranch patch that dropped a few days ago broke a lot of mods including the child birth mod, so you need to update it to v1.385 after you update your game, or your sim will not be able to choose a birth method after calling the OB.⚠Remember to REMOVE THE OLD VERSION when you update, DO NOT rely on "replace"

The reason it broke a lot of mods is actually because EA finally decided to fix this typo that's been in their code after all these years, if you are wondering what the typo is, its actually "aventure_moment", which should've been adventure_moment. And that caused any mods that uses "aventure_moment" to break, luckily its an easy fix in my case.😏

Now let me show you what I have been working on this week.

I made a total of 8 moodlets for the pap smear interaction including 7 positive ones and 1 negative one, the vast majority of time your sim will get a positive one, but theres a small chance they will get an uncomfortable moodlet saying the pap smear was painful. Now I know it's really not supposed to hurt, but while I was doing research I couldnt ignore the stories from people saying it was the most painful thing they ever felt, so I decided to add it to the game since it is something that happens irl for one reason or another :

this week I also made a new type of hospital bed. I know many of you have been asking for longer postpartum stay, while I dont think I can make that happen in this update, since its not the easiest thing in the world. I decided to make a better hospital bed that actually looks like something someone could sleep in.

And I also got this new IV stand, this is a 3d asset I purchased online because I didnt feel like spending another two days making something from scratch. This could be used as a decoration, but I also plan on using it for the pitocin interaction 

Besides mods, the tool I am using to make mods (sims4 Studio) was also affected by the horse ranch update, and I cannot import any animations to the game until sims4 studio is updated, which hopefully will be next week. The creators behind sims4 studio has been updating it all these years which I am extremely grateful for, I wouldn't have been able to make mods if it werent for them. So I completely understand if it is taking them a bit longer since the horse ranch update added quite a few new features.

So this week I will have to show you my animation in Blender(3D animation software)

aaaaaannnd that's all I have for this week. 

Hopefully by next week I will at least have the pitocin animation finished.
