Good news, my mods were unaffected by today's patch. That means the update for the child birth mod is will be released at the end of this week as planned!🤗

Im currently working on the birth emergencies, see you guys in a few days

My sim won't have a home birth. You can select the birthing pool or pillows and ask them to use them, but sims just stand there and the item disappears out of their task queue. Happened several times now in different saved games. Will the new update help fix this as know a few have had this problem? Thanks and you're work is fantastic by the way!

if you have healthcare redux will this affect the birth emergencies and is this the only birth emergencies we will have like the slowing on labour I'm super excited and cannot wait for this mod thank you for all your hard work

I appreciate that the game gives you a warning that the labor is slowing down! Does this mean there's still a way to get home birth and not have an emergency c if you just spam exercise ball/nap/etc non-stop?

well spamming early labor activities will not do anything but there is a 50% chance it will go away on its own. the chances for installed labor is quite low(10% for 1 baby, 35% for multiples), plus you can always just opt out of it which I will explain in detail in the release post.

I actually dont know anyone who has had this problem yet. theres a few reason I can think of that might cause this issue tho. 1)you still have old versions of the mod n your mods folder, double check your folder again and delete anything that's not v3_3. 2)you dont have a birth partner or a midwife on your lot to help your sim. 3)you dont have get to work.

do these birth emergencies happen at a home birth as well or just in the hospital also will healthcare redux will this effect the birth emergencies
