This machine is a beast!!! Running a 14 hour print that will be wrapping up this afternoon.

The default print settings seem really damn slow for a monoscreen printer… so I’m going to play around and see if we can get it printing a good bit faster 😬🤘

Lemmi know if you have any questions you’d like to see answered on the machine

Awesome! What do you think of it so far? Mine is coming sometime in September 😬😬 it is weird that the machine is so slow. Is this done to reduce suction force? I wonder if there is a way set an acceleration curve on these machines so that it lifts slowly the first mm and then accel faster to help speed up prints.

I would love for some basic testing on accuracy, and tolerances. Everyone often focus on miniatures and stand alone costume pieces but few delve into tolerances and fitment with resin. Serval of my designs rely on interlocking pieces slide or snap together parts over on https://www.thingiverse.com/ryanthemast/designs And it has been a learning curve with my MonoX and before that my Photon to dial in settings for better part fitment. I would also like to hear some basics on what all is different with a large size resin printer (besides the obvious footprint and resin use) verses small and medium machines. Like how your support strategy changes, how you are keeping an eye on resin and how long a full tank is likely to last during a print, how thick to leave walls when hollowing, What you will do for clean up and cure as no clean and cure machines exists in the size class yet. Stuff like that. Lastly a general comparison with The Phenom L would be nice as I think that is the only other printer in this size class right? out side of what ever formlabs has of course. Thank you for your time, keep up the great show! Ryan
