After the goblin army managed to capture Arienne, the warrior princess, the king had no choice but to agree to peace negotiations. When he refused to pull back his army and give the goblins some land to settle, until he would have the proof that his daughter is OK, the goblins dragged the princess to the hill behind their camp and strung her up on a very uncomfortable and humiliating position.
