Pose finding,from ginger to judy [step by step] (Patreon)

trying to share some more work/drawing progress things ^^ Im always worried about my shitty presketch stuff that I dont wanne share it to much but...here we are xD;

what you see above is how things go from time to time when my orginal sketch Idea just evloves into something else x3;; sometimes Im a bit stuck when having an idea in my head and it just doesnt turn out the way I want it for whatever reason...

Orginally I wanted to draw an valentinsday picc involving my calico ginger.

I was still sure I could do it when I sketched up 1. and refined it in 2.

Sadly I felt like the idea was to close to the picc of her I just finished coloring so I didnt wanted to continue....[usually this is when I scrap a sketch and do something new]

gladly I thought this sketch shouldnt be wasted and put a judy hopps into it XD;; changing up the concept a bit and gladly it worked out ^^

It does happend that do to concepting problems in the earlie sketch phase I need many many hours to reach something like you see in 3. [I know Im probarly not the only one getting stuck and lost in the sketch phase but boy...its just devastating sometimes XD;]

what you see in 4. is already the phase that will be inked later, I also not only add the colors cause it looks nice but also to see if the propotions work like that :3 in this case it took me over 5h to get to phase 4. wow [the normal time I need for phase 4. is usually 1-2h depending on how complex it is]
