New Patron fees and general thoughts. (Patreon)

I currently see a lot of patreons struggling(both artists and suporters) because of the new change in how the fees are weighted now. So I wanne share my general thoughts and hear what you guys think.

It is clear to me that some artist/people nowadays build their whole source of income on patreon while forgetting that the whole system is build on real people and there favor aor the website taht could just go offline and is gone any minute. It will never be stable like a currency that can just drop all suddent when something happend.And than people complain and worry and get nervous and what not. And thats why even when I wanne live an artist life Im still having my job.

The other side of patreon is that even when Iam happy patreon gives the possibilety nowadays to help artist devote there life to art and gives them a stable incoming that sadly this system gets abused easy and even when I use patreon myself I always struggle a bit too.

Most of the time patreon doesnt really help artist that really starve.....a lot of good artist gain nothing but give so much and other artists get a lot of money and still complain that they cant pay the rent while they buy an new ipad or a nintendo or what so ever. The among some people own is insane and uncalled for and demotivates a lot of people (artists and patreons).

This really bothers me and is also why I cannot blame people hating patreon :/ But eventually things will change because of this since nothing really last forever.

This will be a bit of grandma inuki talk here but I come from a time were the internet was small only a few websites excisted and support for artists was nothing even existing(at least not like donations or stuff).So the major time of my life I was just drawing for nobody but myself and took commissions here and there to help me with school mostly. Never did I thought I could life of my art only and so far I also dont see it happend.

What I wanne say by all this really bad written english grammar massaker is that for me Patreon is NOT the main source of incoming. Its more an motivation boost to draw better and that I archived cause I look at this year and never had such a good quality in my art before. The extra money is a bonus too of course when my car breaks, the chameleon has an expensive surgery or to just buy my sister a really cool pair of shoes to name a few things.

If you struggle for whatever reason or just hate the new fee system or patreon in general dont feel bad for not supporting me with money here or elsewhere.

I will always be ok and always will keep on drawing and posting here or on FA or whatever new website will be cool in a few years. And yeah I know I got some exclusive art here and bla bla but eventually all finds there way to the public as always so dont worry if you miss something.

Think about yourself first always!This is really important to me I dont wanne have people starve cause they wanne give me or other artist a few dollars. Starving or beeing poor is nothing nice and I know what I talk of. So only give if you can spare but you come first!

Please support me because you like me or my art or steaks or zelda or whatever. And I not mean with money you can also tell me Im great or fav a picc or stuff :V And thats where this horrible wall of text will end cause its probarly a pain to read for everyone loving english grammar lol
