I'm thinking about utilizing this new feature I noticed on the Patreon setting.
Not too familiar with it yet but I'll research and figure out some cool stuff from this.

Apparently I can assign patrons roles among the small community.

Maybe I can use this for future workshops, mentorships, exclusive live tutorials.

Also, having a patron be a Moderator that collects requests for fan art or one of the characters from my personal projects, from the community sounds pretty cool!

Its not hard, really easy when you get the idea behind it

When you create the serer you can select yourself or others and give them classifications and how they can interact with others in the room and the power they have, such as sharing the server information, or banning and sharing information. You can use beside others or as a stream program, its a secure group such as Skype so you can host workshops, images, gifs, videos, and others. I'm currently in quite a few groups for artists already who link to Picarto.TV when they stream.

Thanks for the detailed info! Is it mainly used for live streaming panting demos? what's the most popular and fun way Discord has been used so far?

Sounds good

It's pretty much reddit and Facebook messenger combined.

[Inc small wall] From the perspective of Twitch streamers, a lot of them utilize Discord to build a lively and friendly area for the streamers community to interact even when the channel is offline. They host giveaways, organise game nights with viewers, or even movie nights. Anyone can join in and interact, and its moderated in a similar fashion to Twitch streams with the Moderators and Host having authority over the regular users to make sure nothing gets out of hand. Usually it gets split up into different sub channels, with a main chat room and different chat rooms branched off so people can chat about various topics, like an Anime room, or a Food room - If you get the idea. It's like a big group chat on Skype or Facebook that people can opt in or out of as they please. The voice channels are a neat extra that not everybody feels comfortable with sometimes, but its there for those who prefer that experience over typing. I think it would be a pretty good idea especially to get feedback from your patreons about what they might want to see from you in future. It might be worth giving it a shot to see how well it gets used by the patreons and even yourself. It could be quite fun for us to maybe show off our own artwork and get feedback from each other, or just generally chat about whatever and make some new friends. :)

It's a really good idea for sharing artworks or even suggesting maybe fanart that you (Z) can do! It's probably better to do it on a Discord channel, than just doing it via Instagram I believe
