Yes, it was completed when they were first joined together, mostly illustrated by the growl at that moment as his energy passed through her.

I was really enjoying having a story like this where there were female characters that were not part of the harem. Made the story feel more realistic than the likes of say, everything Eric Vall has ever written. I’ll reserve judgment about the whole teacher/student situation, but I will say that if Suanori ever joins the Harem, not only will that damage my immersion, but that’s just flat disgusting, given how much older than him she is. This story is not running on an Anime operating system, so that is still a factor.

Well, as I said a few times, not everyone is going to join and it won't grow into a large group. There are only certain characters that get this close due to various circumstances. There are those who do not wish to involve themselves in such dealings too or just don't share that kind of connection. Suanori and Ellie are the example here.

Good. While I’m bitching, I think I’ll add that the story could use more dudes. Pretty much the only guys in the plot are the king and (arguably) Umbra. But either way it’s good to hear that Suanori isn’t going to join.

This has nothing to do with race. If he got with a young elf or even one in her 40s (young for an elf) I really wouldn’t have a problem with that at all. But Suanori is the human equivalent of a 40-50 year old, and ast is in his 20s. She doesn’t and shouldn’t act like miria, and if she did it would damage my immersion

Just how old is she? I think Tina is 19, Silvia is 20, Miria is 27/8, Grea somewhere between 60 and 100, Selene 138/9 and Bryn, IDK. So how old is Suanori, 200-300 or 2000-3000?

I mean, she doesn't act like Miria. She's a dignified woman with some life experience behind her belt. Their interactions with her were quite friendly, to the point where Miria and Selene even teased her a bunch regarding Asterios. If anything, things certainly wouldn't just surface suddenly but be a collection of the events they went through together, and they shared some. The Rhode incident, The Dungeon War, their exploration of that dungeon, then Dagger's End cooperation, then the situation with Rosewind's Guild and moving to Glimmervale. Honestly, it wouldn't be that unusual if maybe at some point they grew somewhat closer but who knows what the future brings. Due to her race, she does seem and look youthful, like a mature, refined lady comparable to Selene, since elves show their "old age" closer to the end of their lifespan, and she still has some of it ahead. In any way, she would certainly not throw herself onto him like a some little girl, or like Miria as you've mentioned. For now, I don't really have much plans involving her romantically. We will see how they develop further.

Aw man!!!! I was actually really hoping for Suanori to join!!!!! I think that to think of age as being a factor in any relationship in fantasy is pretty ridiculous given that there are so many long lived races. Even if a person has a five thousand year age gap between them and another it shouldn’t matter because there would be very few people as old as them if any. Does that mean they should never have feelings for others? I did not see Suanori as a 40 or 50 year old and feel like that was not how she was described. I have always seen her as a refined lady just like Selene. That was further supported, to me at least, when Selene kissed her to feed her the potion. Plus, Asterios is likely to live for a very long time if he doesn’t get killed or die from a incurable disease. He might even be immortal once he is no longer half dead. Should he never have feelings for someone else once he gets older? I can’t remember if dragon ages were talked about or not so I am not sure how long his lifespan is. Has to at least be a couple thousand years since Kaguya is at least 400, can’t remember her actual age. I think it was mentioned somewhere that she was 700 but I am not sure. And his dad seems old as well and is with her. In all their interactions I felt that Red was older than her although that might not be true. I don’t think his age is ever discussed but given all the locations that are their secret bases are so elaborate and seem to be pretty rich in history, it seems like they are both fairly old. Sad to hear that someone’s immersion in a story would be broken just for an age gap that seems pretty small in the grand scheme of things, that’s the phrase right? I hope the relationship progresses further with Suanori as the story progresses. I also hope that if it does happen that no one loses their immersion due to it. I don’t see Suanori throwing herself at anyone and if Asterios was to progress his relationship with her it would probably be pretty slow and he would have to work a bit for it. She strikes me as someone who wouldn’t give their heart away easily. Especially since she has more life experience. Sorry to go on a bit of a rant but I have liked Suanori since she first met Asterios and have been rooting for them ever since. Thanks for another great chapter and the amazing stories!!!!!

YES!!! Finally Grea gets her gate dream! I don’t think it will matter too much for her wether she’s a mate or an aid since she more than likely will be staying in her dungeon doing research for Ast. I think it’d be nice for her to be one of AST’s mate but I don’t know if she’s into the romantic aspect of their relationship. She got her gate, she got her own dungeon research laboratory, and she got her young dragon D. I’m not sure if she wants anything else lol. Awesome chapter Sai! Now let’s get that princess on board lol

@Saileri reguardless if I got her exact age right, that pretty much sums up my feelings on the subject. As for mr. gray, yes, if the story theoretically lasts until ast is hundreds of years old, and he goes after a teenager or even a 20 something, I would strongly disapprove of that. By that point, he would be a sexual predator. Not that I think he would ever do that.

Not to take away from Saileri's income, but why do you read this type of fantasy if you have those types of opinions. Most of these stories have that age gap in it. Do you read BIAW? Do you take issue with the main character having a relationship with a succubus that is thousands of years old?
