I can't think of a good place to put this comment but the further I get into the story the more it bothers me why does everyone has such crapy gear? Sure the MC has his two gauntlets which each got their own chapter description and are deeply cool as well as very original weapons, but the rest of the gear is completely mundane side from the sword that dropped in the dungeon side note they raided a whole dungeon top to bottom and the only gear that dropped was in the final room and then just one thing. Anyway both summoned women are wearing cloth regular old cloth panthergirl in in like hot pants and a sports bra Selene is in a cloths dress she has dozens of and long socks and sleeves. the most basic reason for this you could say is they're speed fighters and armor would slow them down but both of them use magic to augment strength and speed they're described as moving so fast mundane eyes can't follow them so how much does a minimal amount of armor slow them down? there's magic ore in this game some of it has to be strong and light they know mythical level magical blacksmiths. Also why does the werepanther have mundane swords? yeah she coats them and extends them with magic but wouldn't it be better if she had swords with magical circuits that helped her do that maybe that help with her wind affinity or the fire affinity or both. Selene makes her own weapons so its easy to debate is a magic sword better than a sword made of magic which they author can end that debate with a sentence, this choice also effects the storytelling moving forward in two ways. One the idea of loot in the kind of swords and sorcery story this is the party's gear is part of the story questing for better gear is part of the story currently that story is only kinda being told as only the MC has gear and no kinda armor that limits the storys no if the author just says he wants to focus on the central themes of the story and not develop others then that's all there is to it the other way it limits the story is combat scenes in a world where nobody has armor the only response to a powerful attack is the perfect dodge theres no blocking with armor there is just dodging and that limits the kind of combat you can have in the story. I know I'm critical more than I praise here but to be clear I like these stories a lot the things I talk about adding in my view would positively add to the story but the story is plenty exciting without them. but if the author can get detailed feedback before the amazon reviews start funneling a good story its better for the success of the story
