Kings Journal No1 (Patreon)

After the poll I had the idea about doing a journal sometimes to offer you some insight to my work. I´ll see in the next poll, if you like this or not: Until then deal with it ;)

This morning I checked the voting results for the December characters and two guys seem to own the throne already. I started to think about how I would draw them and browsed my reference folder for some inspiration and poses that suit for the men. I always try to draw someone in a pose (even the more kinky ones) that I could imagine to happen. 

After browsing my folder I had found some poses, but no real ideas. The questions are mostly the same: Do I draw the front or the back? Butt or Dick? How to draw both? What about the perspective? And then I solved this riddle: One page comic! I grabbed a sheet of paper and a pen and sketched my ideas for Reinhardt and Delsin. I rarely draw traditional these days, but to keep my ideas, I draw simple sketches and write a lot of stuff down, to remind myself later. As you can see above the sketches are very simple and sometimes look like crab, but even if I find very old shabby papers, folders or words, I remember my ideas as clear as the moment they popped into my head.

I could explain the Reinhardt and Delsin comic idea now, but I think it is more fun for you, to think for yourselves. I think it looks very promising even in this early stage of progress.

I also have an idea for the journal topic! maybe I could write a few lines about "references" or my experiences with "drawing tutorials". Or I´ll show you the early sketches for the Uncharted comic. They look horrible!! XD
