Increasing the speed: Faster comic creation (Patreon)
Content
Hello Werewolf, Wolf and Puppy patrons,
as I mentioned earlier in my anniversary Kings Journal I am going to grant comic pages more space in my schedule and Artpacks. I consider OC comics as my most promising creations and as my best chance to stand out from a competitive art community.
From now on I will create 3 comic pages per month and 2 (fanart) artworks.
One of these two is determined in the Commission Chance.
To keep balance between the reward tiers I'll limit the comic pages in the Puppy tier to 2 pages per month. In fact the Puppy tier won't change at all - it will remain as it is.
The difference will be, that comics progress faster in the Werewolf and Wolf tiers.
I created an overview above to show the time difference by using "The Massage" comic as as example. The result for the completition of the comic with 16 pages would be 6 months for Werewolf and Wolf tiers and 8 months for the Puppy tier.
The longer the comic the bigger the difference becomes.
As a recent example: Knights in Japan will be completed earlier for the Werewolf and Wolf tier and Moon Detective will continue earlier as well - compared to the Puppy tier release rhythm of 2 pages per month.
I think this is a fair solution to guarantee the different privileges of my reward tiers.
That's it. Thank you for reading. <3

If you should be interested in my critical view on fanart you can continue reading below.
Fanart is nice and fun, but almost every (more or less) talented artist does it and I think I can not compete with trending artists, especially when the drawn character is more important than quality and passion. Some fanart-lovers are not very demanding and they move on like nomads from one artist to another - as long as they get the latest hyped stuff.
These nomads are no reliable source of support.
It's my fifths year now and I hardly drew trending stuff in the past years. I drew some Overlook fanart and last year that Constantine x Shark artwork. Those were fun to draw and it was my own decision (plus some Commission Chance winners). But as my patrons you might have noticed that I enjoy to draw "outsiders" - rarely drawn guys: Max Howard, Edward Pierce, assassins, Axel Stone, Galahad Grayson, Thundercats, Travis Grady, McBeth, Simon Belmont, Zeke and Wulfric and many more.
I want to keep the option to draw fanart, because there still are enough overseen characters who deserve artistic attention, but I am also aware, that there is no successful future with a main focus on fanart.
I need original content to be free, to be indipendant, to expand, to unlock boundless creativity, to follow my ideas, to be a true Bara/Furry artist.
If you read this far - you made it through! Double thanks for reading! <3
