Kings Journal: Editing the rules - A step forward! (Patreon)
Content
For my latest OC creation: the Minotaur Loik I drew a new design for a weener. Let me mention something else first: Patreon has a "language police", that detects inappropriate language - at least what prude programmers consider as inappriate, that's why I will use the words weener, sausage or love tool to write about the P-E-N-I-S.
The pic above shows my old rules. For many years I did not allow any kind of weener aside human weeners. After drawing many artworks I reached a point, where I feel open for new experiences. That means I am going to edit the weener rule to allow more variations of love tools in the future.
The condition is simple: It should be based on a human weener, but it can look special.
This way I hope to bring more diversity into my art and also a fresh air of excitement.
Why did this rule exist so long?
Well each artist has personal feelings about drawing. What feels pleasant and what not.
One of the first things I learned after posting my art for public was, that some commissions, some content can damage an artist's soul. I read several journals of artists who did not have clear rules and suddenly they were confronted with debatable commissions.
There are some kinks in this world, that are too much for an artists fantasy. Imagine you would have to spend hours in drawing torture and mutilation scenes. Such things ruin your mind. I also do not wish to ever draw characters inhaling farts for example.
In general I tolerate many things, but I have limits.
I was afraid to end like those broken artists, if I would not write clear rules.
The development thanks to anthro Furries.
A few years ago I began with drawing Furries, what is a lot of fun and it also made me more open for new things. At least considering anthro Furries, that are based on human anatomy.
So I can only repeat myself, that I am open for new kinds of weeners (inspired by human weeners) and I will edit my rules to grant more freedom to the Commission Chance and commissions in general.
I will also edit the feet rule. I mean I draw feet of course, but the feet should not be 90% of an artwork. So I will edit that rule later, too.
Well, that's it. Thank you for reading.
If you like write me comment.
Do you like the less strict weener rule?
