I am working on Geoffrey's and Jonathan's artwork. The colours will be dark, because it is late night, while the skin of both vampires will be pale so there will be a nice contrast.

I always follow the same order, when I colour my artworks. That means the order of layers like skin, eyes, iris, hair and so on is the same in all my creations. Navigation becomes much easier this way. Especially when you work on many artworks at the same time structure and order are very useful.

If you have a look at the works in progress above you can also see, that I save a sketch layer in the PSD file. That sketch is the "final" one. If you watched a folder with sketches in your Artpacks you might have seen that name before. Final sketches become linearts and after that step, the sketch remains hidden inside the PSD file so I can use it to draw a detailed background for example.

I hope you enjoyed this little insight in my work.

4k is the original size of all my artworks.
