Dedue and Dimitri really love each other. Their good relation can be considered as a secret romance (bromance) in FE: Three Houses. If you are not familiar with the characters:
Dimitri is a king (blond guy) and after saving Dedue's life he became Dimitri's servant/bodyguard voluntarily so they spend most time together.

The story also has a timeskip, that's why they look different. And I created a full beard variation, because this is my art trade image with the fantastic Gigan.
