I like both but the cel-shading hits my eyes just right

I prefer cel-shading by far. Smooth-shading gives it an almost oily look that doesn’t look as good to me.

I like both, too and I can find arguments that support the strenghts of both techniques - so I look forward for the poll results. ^^;

Cel-shading reminds me of animated shows, no matter if western or anime, while smooth-shading reminds me of classic paintings - so the oily look kinda fits.

I like boths a lot really, I think I incline a bit more to Cel-shading but I enjoy both styles on the picture!
