In Kings Journal I write about Bara topics or places I visited.
Today I gonna write a short journal about myself. xD
Well, my artistic progress.
Forgotten treasures?!
After I had finished the Cyberpunk image with all its bright colours and details I wondered how my old art would look like in comparison.
So I opened an old dusty folder on my PC called "my art" and had a look at those early works and I think I found the oldest one.
Ancient Warrior?
The image shows a man wearing armor inspired by the antique. He is young and muscular, but also slim.
I drew him on a sheet of paper and scanned the lines so you can see the roughness of many dots forming the lineart. The colours are bright yet kinda one-dimensionally also simple and the whole drawing seems "painted".
It was the first image I coloured digitally and I had very little knowledge of digital art and software. Regarding this fact it looks kinda charming and aged well.
Then and now
I think there is no need to compare the warrior from 2012 with the Cyberpunk image (2018) with tons of analytic sentences, because you could have a look yourself if you want to and the images speak for themselves.
