A Bara year review (Patreon)

It is the last day of 2017 and I took the chance to create a small overview  showing some of my images to write a bara review. I also realized that I never mentioned what "bara" means:
Bara is a genre of art that is usually created by men for other men and contains same sex gay romance and erotic content. You can follow the link to the informative but kinda long explanation on Wikipedia - if you want. Of course bara can also be created and adored by women and straight guys.

To talk about my review and art progress I have four guys who will assist me: The Iron Bull, Jacob Frye, John Shepard and Jean Rafael.

Here we go

The Iron Bull
I am a huge warrior who calls himself "The Iron Bull" - "the" makes my name sound more important. I am your teammate and lover from Dragon Age Inquisition.
In August 2016 Greeny drew me for the first time and he tried to colour with grayscales. I have a relaxed pose and my proportions are close to a human man.
In January 2017 I became intimate with Dorian. He got a huge load of my bull seed and we were drawn in cel-shading colours.
Later this year in September 2017 Greeny revived the grayscale colouring, because he figured out some techniques and tricks to use the grayscale potential. This time I also feel the sunlight on my skin thanks to a vivid interaction between lighter and darker parts of my image. My body proportions are also more unique now. Blackwall would tell you this, too, but he can hardly speak after riding the Bull. ;)

Jacob Frye
I am Jacob an assassin and one of the main characters in AC Syndicate. I founded my own street gang the "Rooks", I like boxing matches and I can pretend to be a true fancy gentleman.
Greeny drew me first in April 2016 so I am shown on one if his oldest images. Look at my hairy bubble butt and my Rook pal coloured with very basic cel-shading.
In September 2016 I got another image, that shows me during a match. My body looks more beefy there and hairier. :3
This year I became a gentleman. In September 2017 I got a nice smooth shading image and the colours, lights and  shadows define my beefy body. Now you can see the volume of my muscles like at my shoulders and my hairy chest wants to be touched. ;)

John Shepard
I am Commander Shepard - that´ s how my friends, comrades and also lover(s) call me. In Mass Effect 1,2 and 3 I try my best to save the earth from (alien) villains and I discover space, planets, cultures and species.

I am one of Greenys favourite guys, because I am the main character of a good game he played, that allows gay romance that is an original content created by the developers of ME3. No mods or cheats neaded. Just real gay love.
So my first image is even older than Jacobs. It was drawn by Greeny in March 2012 - when there was no Greeny aka Greeneyedwolking. He was  just a guy who drew men in private, adored bara art and who was pretty unhappy with his real life studies. As a good commander I know such things.
So in August 2016 I returned and much had changed. Greeny started focusing on how he would draw things himself instead of forcing himself to draw anime-ish style. The lines became thinner and I looked more like myself compared to the old beach image.
Last night in December 2017 I got a new image coloured with grayscales. Now I have real light and shadows, gorgeous blue eyes and I can take good care of my crew(s) members. ;)

Jean Rafael
I am one of the oldest and yet the youngest among the guys here. I am an original character and you met me first this December during a christmas special. But I am based on an old image from 2012, that was never finished. Like Commander Shepards images this old image allows a very nice comparison of Greenys drawing improvement.
In 2012 I looked like a young, roughly drawn anime guy with yellow skin. ^^;
Now I have a defined look. I grew up and kept the things that define me: A hairy body, dark auburn hair, green eyes and muscles.
isn´ t it fascinating to look at my old me and the new me?!
I wonder what Greeny draws next for me and others. ^^

I enjoyed this look back, because it is fun and somehow educating.
