Nordic Steampunk - Creating a world (Patreon)

I am done with all three images for the french magazine and luckily I got a second deadline to be able to create something I consider as important.
The cover for the story. A good story deserves a good cover image.
The image shows the world of Hector and Joar. They live far in the north in a town surrounded by mountains. It is automn and in the finished image you will see some snowflakes. Winter starts early. ^^
The town is a fusion of scandinavian and german architecture, plus some art-deco and gothic revival style and steampunk elements. The place is cold and cozy with lots of steam and the mansion on the mountain is where the story takes place.

Im am not finished yet, but you can have some fun yourself.
Can you name the two cities I used to create the town?
Both are from games and I drew guys of those games already.
And I hid an easter egg. Try to find it. ^^
