Today I introduce you the magazine aka fanzine "THEMALICIOUS".
Thanks to Waghran for providing me the informations to write this journal.

Originally there were 4 founders of "THEMALICIOUS", though one of them left before the first issue was released, which only left Gigan, Eeks and Yuki from the ones that initiated the project. Even if Waghran was just one of the authors asked to participate, he actually considered to become a founder by the other since he actually provided money for the first publishing and convention to sell it.  Afterwards the fanzine became autonomous and lived from the sales. The first issue was published in July 2010 and a new one would come every 6 months. So far there are 10 issues of Themalicious, 1 of  Doujilicious that contained only works around different fandoms, and soon 2 Themavicious. The people can either buy it at convention (Japan Expo and Y-con) in Paris or online through email. Though the older issues have run out and won't be printed again. Except for the first issue of Themalicious, the themes are proposed by  the readers on the forum and chosen via a poll. It is the readers who  decide what will come next. Though due to a lack of artists to participate Themalicious 11 was put in a hiatus. For Themavicious it is the authors that propose themes and the readers  that choose between them. Yes all comics and stories contain original characters. The only  exception was Doujilicious.

Now how do artists get into the next issue who ain´ t part of the founders?!
You can either ask one of the founders how to participate or one of them asks you.
I was lucky and was asked. Honestly I did not know about Themalicious before. But I know two of the founders - before I knew, that they are founders of something. XD
Do you remember "I waited for you" - a collaboration I did with Waghran.
During the creation of that fiction with images we had the chance to find out, that me make a good team to collaborate.

Creating and publishing a magazine is also a challenge. You have to work bound to a date. The layout has to be done and then the magazine has to be printed. Finding artists who are willing to take the time to create a comic or some images within a strict timeline ain´ t easy. I need to hurry, too, to be honest. ^^,

The next "THEMALICIOUS" releases this October and you can buy it at Y-CON in Paris.

And I hope there will be the option to buy it per email.
The founders will create an english version of the fanzine and a digital version in the future. That means you can improve your french skills with Themalicious until then. ;)
As my patrons you will get the images I draw and I think plus the english version of the story.
For me I definately want to get a real issue of the magazine. ^^

This is the magazines tumblr:

(it isn´ t current, because each artist has to take care of his/her main websites, but you can see some works of them on the tumblr)

That´ s all for now and I keep you informed about Themalicious.
