My anniversary (Patreon)

Today is my first anniversary and I feel weird. I wrote some lines to express my feelings about today and what is on my mind.

But before you start reading the main text:

One year ago I created my tumblr and showed my art online for the first time.
I  wasn´t sure, if I should make a post about my anniversary (day), but I  am very grateful for your support and I wish, that I will have a lot of  anniversaries in the future.

To be honest I am not sitting here  eating a cake and having a party. I am drawing and I think about the  stuff I want to create. How might my art look like in a year? Will I  improve my skills? One year can be long, but when I look at my art  collection, it feels like I drew it just a moment ago or yesterday.
I wonder how others feel about their anniversary?!
I feel like I forgot my own - well I did XD - I remembered the date last night.
But  it feels unreal. I prefer to “celebrate” in a humble way. There were  some special events this month and there are still two ones ahead.

Today  on my anniversary I think about other artists, too. The ones whose art  inspired me to come here and become an artist myself. The ones I met  here. New friends. Followers and patrons who support and encourage me.
And I think about the artists who vanished… Who won´t have an anniversary again.

I am worried because of my anniversary, but it also makes me happy.
What a strange combination of emotions. ^^,
Well,  let´s simply change my wish from “I will” to I am going to have a lot  of anniversaries in the future. Because - thanks to english classes - I  learned, that “going to future” describes events in the future, that are  going to happen without any doubt. :)
