you guys voted on Aerith for this terms nude female pinup, this is the normal version :) wanted to paint her in water, the ripple effect was fun to experiment with, this piece took quite some time but was worth it.

Holy, this is incredibly gorgeous. There is so much that is amazing going on through out the entire painting. Aerith herself is very beautiful. The expression on her face is quite captivating. The details of her clothing are really cool. The wrinkling/folds on her dress, the seams on the jacket, the belts on he sleeves, and the way it floats into the water is just amazing. I really love how her clothing and hair distort underwater; the effect there is really well done. Your idea of painting her in water was a really interesting idea. The ripple effect turned out amazing. It really gives a subtle dynamic feel to the entire painting. I agree with you that the time you took on this piece was worth it. It turned out phenomenal. Fantastic job overall! ^^

This is absolutely beautiful and easily among my favourites of your work :D. The colours are gorgeous, I love the pink of her dress contrasting with the vibrant blue water and her hair and skin are wonderful. The level of detail here is incredible too, all the strands of her hair (particularly the one spiralling in front of her shoulder), the creases in her wet dress, especially where it climbs up her leg as well as around her lowered arm and of course, all of the ripples in the water. The face is stunning too, such a beautiful expression made even better by how the light illuminates her skin and shining eyes. Absolutely fantastic work, can't give it enough praise :D.

I will surprise you, is your slogan! The Aerith I know was a freckled skinny, that stirred the heart of the Cloud. Your could easily be in the remake. The face was well FF8, and I love FF8. The torso and shoulder structure fused perfectly and the angle used in breasts have the same effect appears in mermaid drawing. You thought very well in the colors !! Each one stands out in a unique way and I loved it !!

Is there any way to get a copy of this to print out since it hasn't been on the store and I assume it probably won't be? I somehow missed this and she's my all time favorite character since the video game was first released. I'd die to have this on my wall, except if I were dead I couldn't enjoy it. :(
