Term 124 Newsletter+suggestion survey+ important notice from patreon (Patreon)

Important patreon notice *please read till the end* effective July 1st

 Hey guys before we get to the usual newsletter summary I wanted to give you guys a heads up about patrons new sales tax requirement starting next month. you guys can check out a more detailed summary of it here: But here are some important points I have summarized

• This new mandatory sales tax is out of the hands of creator as its collected by patreon and "mandatory by law" indicated in the article above.
• -tax varies depending on where you live (USA)(4-11%)full list other country here, just scroll down ( example if you pledge 7$ with 5% tax rate because of where you live you will be charged(7.35$) at the beginning of next month (( if you sign up for two terms it will be 14.70$) 
• -this will be applied 1st of July  
• no option for creators to absorb patron tax as of now but there is option to possibly reduce tax for patrons written below.

I have tried my best to reduce the patron sales tax rate hopefully by half or more for most of my tiers exception tiers that have physical goods .I'm able to do so by tagging each tier with multiple benefits of which some will be tax free. ( here's a more detailed articles on how it will work on my end > article . 

I do hope that will reduce tax rate for you guys from 4-10% to 1-5%. I'll be keeping my eye out on further patreon tax settings and opportunity for creators to lower sales tax rate for  our supports by any means.
