I like how, in the more complete one, the zippers and white thing reminds me of an open mouth/teeth without it being over the top. But if he's an over the top kind of character the first one works too...

Well he's looking good so far, because of the bandana look I'd say he's either rebellious or reclusive, maybe even shy. Looking forward to knowing his story one day
