Luminara is ready for yet another after-hours tutoring session! Heels clackin' over to the professor's office~

Speaking of, I had fun creating her shoes! They are one example of how the professor's compliments influence her outfits- Her selections have become progressively more and more gaudy over time as she seeks his approval, a sort of feedback loop.

Though it was not intentional at first, Luminara looks to have become progressively "bimbofied" over time. However, it's intended to always a bit ambiguous as to how naive she actually is- if she's actually a clueless bimbo, if she's subconsciously aware and not openly admitting to it, or if she's completely aware and doing it as an act to see what happens. Regardless of naivety she does seem to have booksmarts, though I suppose even that could be ambiguous (as in, people might be pretending she's smart to appease her). All of that said, it's a high-stakes balancing act when dealing with Lumi, because it's never fully known what she's thinking... and misinterpretations can often have shocking results. "There's no way she's for real... right?" is a frequent thought from those around her.

The background was tricky though also a fun challenge, I used real hallway pics as a reference and it helped educate me on how to realistically render a scene like that. Also, I think the background makes the picture more effective than if I had settled for a flat color or gradient background.
