A bit of a late start to this month! I apologize for the lack of communication. The holiday season, hitting my monthly data cap, recent events, and a bit of burnout made me take a little break.

The return of scheduled streaming

I started streaming again over the past couple of months but I've noticed how it can eat into my monthly data cap if I stream too frequently. I haven't been able to stream for a couple of weeks because I knew it would push me way over the limit, but the cap resets tonight. For now on, I'll be more structured with my streaming.

Around a decade ago, I used to stream every weekend on the now-defunct website Livestream. Starting this weekend, I'll be returning to this scheduled format. I will try to stream every Saturday starting at 6PM EST on either Twitch or Picarto, depending on content. Streams will last 2 or 3 hours. I like having 2 streaming venues as I think it increases my reach.

This weekend I'll be doing the shading on the Delphox from last month's poll on Twitch, in part to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the franchise. Like before, I'll also open some card packs at the end just as a little bonus (and a treat for myself), this time from the Darkness Ablaze set. Maybe I'll finally get a Charizard, 2 decades later...?

I bought a streamer-quality microphone and setup for it, so my voice will be a lot clearer and more audible for future streams. I also put my "webcam" on an identical arm so I don't have a giant tripod taking up a chunk of my room. Annnnd I cleaned off everything and bought new coasters.
