Downvotes Implementation! (Patreon)

I'm here to end 2019 in CHAOS and NAUGHTINESS so I'm now implementing (as a sort of "social experiment," if you will):

Downvotes

-Downvotes will be a feature that the $5 and higher tiers will have in addition to their normal vote.

-Everyone in the appropriate tiers will get one (1) downvote that, during the voting period, they can assign to any one of the other existing nominations at any point in time, similarly to how normal votes are cast.

-Every downvote reduces the nomination's cumulative total by one (1) vote when votes are counted on the 15th.

-Like regular votes, downvotes can be changed at any point before voting closes.

-Downvotes CAN remove a nomination from the consolation pool if the total is reduced to 0, HOWEVER, it will require that the nomination have at least 2 downvotes MORE than the current number of voters for it to be eliminated (emphasis on voters, not votes). This is so one person can't just oust a nomination holding on by a single voter by their lonesome; it needs to be a group affair!

Now, like I mentioned, this is just an experiment. Like normal voting, you don't HAVE to use your downvote, and there's no guarantee that this system will make a comeback when January rolls around.

I simply want to mix things up, and at the same time extract a little bit more about my patreons through some observation... see who has some holiday ire to express and who has the guts to actually express it... 👀
