This video is a little old, as it was made for vamX.1.15. To follow the video exactly, you must download the separate vamX.Add_Merge_Load.1var (or download from the file attached to this post). The text instructions below explain how to add this button using only your existing copy of vamX 1.16 or higher.
Detailed Setup Instructions
1) Open Virt-a-Mate in any scene, then open the Virt-a-Mate main menu (shown in this post's main image), press Edit, then press Open Main UI (the icon with 3 horizontal bars).
2) Press the Session Plugins Tab, then press Add Plugin.
3) On the plugin added press Select File, then choose the latest vamX.1.x package on the left side, and then choose the vamX.cslist file from the right side.
4) To keep the Session Plugin loaded each time you close and open Virt-a-Mate (and to not have to repeat these steps again) from the Main UI switch to the Session Plugin Presets tab, press Change User Defaults..., then press Set Current As User Defaults.
To use the Add vamX plugin, add the Add vamX.cslist as a session plugin, then in Session Plugin Presets save the current session plugins as default (full instructions in the video above or the Detailed Instructions section below.
If you don't have a Creator key for Virt-a-Mate (or prefer to copy over a file instead of editing session defaults), you also need to download and use the Add vamX Session Defaults.zip (or from Mega) and the vamX.Add_Merge_Load.1.var (or download from the file attached to this post). Open the HELP.txt file inside the Add vamX Session Defaults zip from more information.
If you don't have vamX 1.16 or later, you also need to download the latest version of vamX.
Important Information about Adding vamX or Merge Loading vamX
Adding vamX requires more skill then just using the vamX scene. If this is your first time using vamX, start by opening and getting familiar with the vamX scene itself (which is already almost infinitely configurable). Use merge loading / Add vamX once you are familiar with vamX and Virt-a-Mate in general.
Scenes that have vamX added to them must have poses positioned manually or using the vamX -> Scene -> Custom Scene menu. Animations and other scene elements may break if you modify the scene with vamX.
This is an improved version of Add Merge Load. If there are any issues try the original version.
