NEW IN VAMX 1.37

Added setting to Rotate World for lying down (VR only). If you need to lie down and look up while using Virt-a-Mate, see the ADDITIONAL FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS section below.

You can now load any pose for the vamX Female, including from the new POSE LIBRARY. The POSE LIBRARY contains over 2000 organized, free poses, from ascorad, AshAuryn, bill_prime, IAmAFox, klphgz, Luminestrial and VAMsss. These poses are mostly not sex poses, and only change the Female person (although the Female can be male).

To use the POSE LIBRARY go to Pose -> 2nd Page -> POSE LIBRARY and CUSTOM POSES -> LOAD ANY POSE (Female Pose Library).

There are also new buttons to attempt to align the Male to any pose. These are very rough, and you shouldn't expect sexual alignment. Next to the POSE LIBRARY you can find the new buttons:

New custom pose move / rotate buttons are available on the pages after the POSE LIBRARY. Go to Pose -> 2nd Page -> POSE LIBRARY and CUSTOM POSES -> 2nd and 3rd pages.

The AI Chat feature costs us thousands of dollars per month in hosting and service fees. If you want to use AI Chat (which is not required) you need to subscribe to the VIP + AI + ChatGPT Tier.

If this is your first time using vamX, start with the vamX Tutorials scene as described in the download steps below.

Download and Run vamX

1) Download vamX.1.37.var for Virt-a-Mate 1.22 Creator (or from Mega).

2) IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT, YOU MUST ALSO DOWNLOAD vamX.Base.1.var (or from Mega)!

If you already downloaded vamX.Base.1.var for vamX.1.36, you don't need to download it again.

If you are subscribed to the VIP + AI + ChatGPT Tier, you MUST get your password here.

3) Optionally (not required) download the AddonPackages. These haven't changed since vamX.1.29.0.0.

4) Put var packages (from steps 1-3) in your Virt-a-Mate/AddonPackages folder. Don't rename or extract .var package files. If you have previous versions of vamX, you can delete them. Previous versions are only useful if you created and saved scenes with those versions of vamX. If you don't have Virt-a-Mate or a Virt-a-Mate key, learn more here.

5) Open Virt-a-Mate, click the Scene Browser, then find and open the vamX scene (thumbnail of a woman wearing a bra and panties, lying on a bed). If it's your first time using Virt-a-Mate, start with the vamX Tutorials scene instead. If you see a white box instead of the vamX menu, you don't have the vamX.Base.1.var package in the root of your AddonPackages folder. To verify the vamX package version before opening the vamX scene, click the gear icon in the bottom right corner of the vamX scene icon.

6) If it's your first time using vamX, press Help -> vamX MAIN TUTORIAL from the vamX UI -> Scene tab.

8) Should I download anything else? If you've downloaded the latest version of vamX, you have all vamX features. The only additional thing you can download are the separate vamX Environments. Environments can only be opened as separate Virt-a-Mate scenes and cannot be switched to in the main vamX scene tab.

9) First get comfortable using the vamX scene, then advanced users can Add vamX to other scenes.

VAMX VOICE CONTROL 1) Set your Windows default microphone before opening Virt-a-Mate 2) Have the Virt-a-Mate window active (the last selected window selected by clicking anywhere in the Virt-a-Mate program or clicking the Virt-a-Mate icon, not by using Alt-tab). You can download VaM Stay In Front .zip (Optional - Helps if you accidentally click other windows while using Virt-a-Mate - VaM Stay In Front keeps the Virt-a-Mate window active, which keeps voice commands active). Addon Packages (optional) Full Addon Packages folder (2.9 GB) (You must still download vamX 1.37 in addition). Some vamX items and pages are marked in-game as AddOn, to use those items you need the Addon Packages. The Addon Packages haven't changed for vamX 1.37.

Voice Effects Pack (optional) In Sound you can add Vocal Effects. All Vocal Effects are modifications of the original female Belle voice. You can choose from a variety of normal sounding or strange (e.g. angel, robot, monster) voices. Download the vamX Voice Effects Pack.

For those already familiar with vamX functionality you can load vamX into any scene using the Merge Load scenes. Watch the Merge Load Tutorial Video on Mega or X VIDEOS (set the quality in x videos to 1080p). You can also use the Add vamX plugin which adds an "Add vamX" button to the main Virt-a-Mate menu.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS

Some of these features and improvements were first released in AI Chat betas.

Fixed issue where toys lost collision when loading more than one toy in Other -> Toys. You can now add a vibrator, dildo, and butt plug, then freely grab, switch, and use them on the Female. To grab toys press Other -> Toys -> GRAB current DILDOS (and BUTT PLUGS and VIBRATORS).

Added setting to Rotate World for lying down (VR only). You can now adjust the view so you can lie down, and look upwards as if you were looking forwards. Rotate World can also be used for when sitting in a chair but wanting to align yourself as if you were positioned above her for missionary or other positions. The Rotate World button is found at the bottom of many vamX menu tabs, including Pose (Pose -> Rotate World). While lying down, Quest controller thumbsticks operate differently (right controller rolls the view instead of turns it, etc.), so it is a little harder to freely adjust the camera. This also applies to rotation using other VR controllers. Drag world (pressing the right Quest controller thumbstick in) should allow you to drag your view to your desired location. To position the camera try using Scene -> Custom Scene (bottom button) -> 2nd Page -> LOOK THROUGH MALE'S EYES / Align Camera. In many scenes, changing to a pose in another location (from Bed poses to Standing poses) also resets the view.

As part of the POSE LIBRARY you can also Cycle Location to move the pose to the Bed / Standing / Chair positions, for scenes like the default vamX antique room where those are in different places in the scene.

Cycle Location is in Pose -> 2nd Page -> POSE LIBRARY and CUSTOM POSES -> Cycle Location.

If you find a female pose you like in some other Virt-a-Mate scene, you can save the pose by going to Edit Mode -> Cycle Select person (or select the person Atom) -> Pose Presets tab -> Uncheck Store Root Node In Pose (optional) -> type a Preset Name then press the green Create New Preset button. Note where you are saving the preset, as you'll need to find that directory to load the pose in vamX (when opening the POSE LIBRARY you can load any pose you've saved or any pose in the included library).

Fixed issue where her ankle rotation was bad in some seamless animations due to the high heels foot rotation system running even if you never activated high heels.

The PlayerNavigationPanel was for some reason linking to the left controller, which may have caused issues where the thumbstick controllers in the Quest didn't operate properly. We weren't able to reproduce that issue, but we've unlinked the PlayerNavigationPanel and reset it to it's default location (when opening the vamX scene). Hopefully that solves this issue with Quest controllers not working properly.  If you have this issue, please let us know how to reproduce it, and if it happens during a wired connection, Virtual Desktop connection, if you are connecting through SteamVR or the Oculus app, etc.

The message to press USA or Europe server is no longer displayed each time you open the Chat AI menu in vamX.

There is now a message displayed that explains how to save your AI Chat history for later use, or when resetting the servers. To save your chat for later use scroll to the top of the Web UI and click Summarize Chat, then select (Ctrl-A) and copy (Ctrl-C) all personality text. Summarizing also helps the AI give accurate responses if the chat history gets too long. After saving your chat history, you can exit and restart vamX, or select a server to reconnect, then paste (Ctrl-V) your history back in to the top personality box, and click Reset Chat in the Web UI, to continue your conversation. This message is only displayed once per use of vamX.

When starting the Chat AI in VR, in previous versions, you were automatically switched to having the controllers show as VR hands. This is required in order for Chat AI touch detection to work properly. Now, if you have unchecked the Send Touch/Events checkbox in the Chat AI menu in vamX, then you are no longer switched to VR hands when starting the Chat AI.

Fixed issue where when loading both people Dancing, Fighting, etc. (in Pose -> Animnated Poses) and then switching to a new Scene, the male would end up stuck dancing high up in the air. You can now switch Scenes while having both people dancing, and maintain proper alignment in the new Scene.

Fixed issue where loading Seamless Animations after regular standing poses could result in the Female or Male being stuck high up in the air, instead of aligned in the normal ground standing position.

Changed Action code to set animatedTransform to null under certain conditions. Hopefully this fixes things (like when not having sex the head or male hips aren't pulled off to the side) and doesn't break anything.

Added standard vamX voice commands for the new environments (for the environments on the new Scene tab pages, both new unique environments and new Hub environments). You can say "Let's go to the ", "Come with me to the " or "Let's have sex in the " and then the name of the Scene to open that scene. For example for Oeshii House in the Trees you can say "Let's go to the House in the Trees".

There are now 1,900 vamX actions which can be triggered by over 19,000 phrases

PossessSex links/controls a wider variety of in-game toys (when going to Plugins -> PossessSex -> Link Dildo or Vibrator it links to a toy from a wider range of toys). PossessSex now also finds the closest toy if multiple toys are present.

Fixed minor issues where saved scenes didn't remember some information about spankings and soft body physics preferences.

Added Lock Scene toggle, and Lock Pose toggle. These can be used for regular vamX voice commands, even though they were designed to work with the vamX AI Chat. If you wish to use voice commands but make sure that she stays in the same Scene, or same Pose, you can go to Scene -> AI Chat and check Lock Scene or Lock Pose (even if you don't use the AI Chat feature and aren't subscribed to it). This will change what the web browser shows in-game to the AI Chat, but you can change it back by pressing the "<- Page Back" button in the in-game web browser.

BUGS / IN PROGRESS

Loading the Seamless Animation Library takes a lot of RAM and makes it harder to save scenes (which then contain the whole animation library in the scene). This may just be how it is or may be able to be improved in future releases.

We hope, in the future, to add the ability to easily load any timeline animation (similar to how any pose can be loaded).
