Hey guys, hope you are doing well.

Some of you may have noticed I've not been drawing as much recently, taking longer breaks between drawings, and unfortunately, there's a reason for this.

For a little more than a year now, my drawing tablet, a Huion Kamvas 13, has started to behave oddly, the screen all of a sudden turns into static, and there's no way to predict when this is going to happen. In the beginning, i was ok with it, since restarting the tablet solves it and it would only happen like once an hour and stuff, but in the last few months, it's increasing to the point that i reset my tablet and when i'm about to touch the screen, it goes static, a matter of seconds, or in even worst cases it already starts up with the static.

I've asked people in drawing communities, on twitter and the huion community to see if anyone was dealing with this as well, and nothing people told me to do worked. It's reaching a point that it's stressing me out so much that I genuinely am losing interest in drawing due to that, i am losing the energy to feel angry and now i just feel defeated. And I don't wanna stop drawing, I want to keep working with these drawings for as long as possible, but things can't stay like this.

That's why about a week ago I contacted the official huion support for help, they told me all the standard ways to solve the issue and nothing has worked. So they started to reach out to their technical department to find more intricate solutions, so far, nothing has worked, and hopefully in the next few days this will be solved, because if they can't fix it, the last resort i have is to buy a new tablet entirely, and given how expensive they are, that's something i don't wanna do. Especially since i just moved.

Today I was supposed to work in the second Romanes drawing, but I couldn't do it at all. I spent 30 minutes trying to draw in it, and the only thing I manage to do is somewhat finish the brute sketch, which usually takes less than 5 minutes for me. I gave up for the night, but hopefully i won't have to worry about this anymore in the next few days, wish me luck, and if you have any idea that might help fixing this, I'd love to hear it. Thank you for reading, peace.
