I was a little confused in the beginning because I didn’t know when this took place or what was happening

The first two episodes definitely had me going "WHY is this show?" but by episode four, I found it difficult to wait for each one to come out! It gets soooo good :D

It was a slow start for me too but the show picks up the pace and the “Marvel-ness” as it goes. You and Monica will enjoy it for sure. The next two series, (Falcon/Winter Soldier & Loki) start off much quicker. I think Marvel just really wanted to stick to a TV-era formula for the first half of WandaVision and it’s so different from what we’d all seen before from them that it took adjustment.

What was I thinking? I remember Disney+ putting these out and it was right in the middle of a global pandemic, so it was great to having something to look forward to and talk about on a weekly basis. A bit different now - but not that much different than waiting months or a year for the next Marvel movie.

I was just enjoying the ride at this point. The purpose of telling a story in a limited series tv show rather than a movie is to be able to take your time and tell a fuller story and not have to condense stuff drown to 3 acts in a few hours. My best advice is: reeeeeelllaaaaaaaax. If you keep watching you will inevitably reach the destination and all will be revealed. It’s great to try to work things out as you go but don’t let yourself NEED to know so much that you forget to just enjoy the story. It’s gonna be hard for people that don’t like not feeling in control and not knowing what is going on but it is worth it.
