Guys it’s finally here!!! INFINITY WAR, the hype is very real !!! seriously though guys I just want to say to you all, I know the journey isn’t over yet, in fact it’s far from over, there’s loads of Marvel shows/movies to go, but the family/community that we’ve grown/continued into Marvel has been amazing, you guys really support and show love, “on a scale hitherto undreamt of.” ;)

I know not all of you comment or engage in the uploads and that’s okay, but guys to those of you who do, for real, thank you, it allows us to get to know you guys better and in fact I think it actually makes the reactions better, because it allows us to react with you in mind, so even though Monica and I are watching it together, it does feel like we’re watching it with you too, anyways that being said I hope you guys enjoy the reaction, and make sure you check out the “end of movie thoughts” ahaha I was laughing sooo much at what Monica had to say!! she kind of has a point lol

Man, just finished watching and that was so good. Monica has the curse of liking stuff that Rico recommends and then absolutely feeling so sad when it inevitably goes dark hahahahaha. I’m going to start posting this for this comment section and for the ones regarding Captain Marvel and Ant-Man since I think it’s important info: Rico, there’s no after credits in Avengers: Endgame, but I seriously recommend Monica and you stick around for the credits, maybe lower the volume of the credits if you wish to discuss the movie while they roll, but in my opinion the first part of the credits is in it of itself awesome as hell and I think you guys will enjoy watching them. Anyhow, can’t wait for you guys to watch Ant-Man and Captain Marvel so we get to Endgame. Great stuff my guy.

I wish Monica got to experience this in theatres coz watching with an audience makes this movie 1000 times better. I remember on opening night when Thanos snapped, the ENTIRE cinema was dead quiet, like it was almost uncomfortable how quiet it was and then to have a year to let tht movie just sit, don't think we'll ever get tht experience again, not for a long time anyway. Thts why the movie is so loved by Marvel fans

Rico to your point about Steve knowing Tony's parents dying ....he didn't know it was bucky who killed them...he even said it to tony when he confronted Steve about it. He just knew they died from winter soldier when Dr Zola showed the picture of Howard in the newspaper dying in a car crash...and remember Natasha told Bruce that Clint and Scott is on house arrest after the accords situation.

he did actually know it was bucky. he said no to tony but when tony asked again, he admitted he knew it was bucky. and he knew it because dr zola showed him a picture of the winter soldier and then showed him pictures of the newspaper with the headline about howard's death

Guys great reaction, I know Thanos is the villain and you hate him for killing all these people, but I really cannot bring myself to hate thanos. I just can't. This was a man on a mission. Not like a classic evil villain, Thanos truly believed in what he was fighting for. The reason he's happy and not empty is because he's like Captain America. What he did wasn't for him, it was for the universe. So it was all about sacrifice, that's why he is content at the end and fine with just chilling at a house. He gave up everything to save the universe. Like that's a deep ass character right there.

I think Monica will really like the new Black Widow movie coming out, based on the reviews so far. Based on her comments about the female fighters and not overly sexualizing them.

Awesome reaction again guys! While Black Widow was sexualised quite a bit in Iron Man 2 it actually fit her character because she’s been trained as a spy to use her sexuality to her advantage which made her the perfect infiltrator against Tony because of his weakness for women. But even in that movie, notice when she is revealed to him in the donut place she is all business and the sexuality is nowhere to be seen (other than the tight outfit) in the way she plays the character. Understandable from the trailers how Monica could have been put off though. Regarding the Groot deaths it’s a bit worse even than “Groot” dying twice: you’d have to be a reader of interviews with James Gunn to know this but that’s actually not the original Groot regrowing, that’s Groot’s offspring. So not only has Groot died but his child has now also died! Tough time for the Groot family. Also from James Gunn: what Groot jr said to Rocket just before he disintegrated translates as “Dad?”.

Are we ever gonna get tears from Monica? If the Peter Parker and Tony scene didn’t do it, nor the Gamora and Thanos scene, nor the scene where Wanda had to kill Vision only for Thanos to rewind and kill him again…. tears might not happen.

To the point of women being sexualized earlier. There was an executive on the Marvel board that was very conservative, and Kevin Feige (Marvel's head producer) wanted him gone for ages. This executive was very conservative and was against female leads, diverse casts, and led to the Black Widow we saw in the earlier movies, etc. Feige threatened to quit if this dude wasn't fired, and he was. Feige then took full control of the MCU and it led to less sexualized roles for women, movies like Black Panther and Captain Marvel, and the diversity in some of the new shows on Disney+.

I think they should watch it after watching FATWS, in release order. It’s so much more satisfying to watch after all the other movies/shows

I feel like the reason why Monica didn't like the film, and other films where characters die, is the reason why I like them. Good stories written in ways to make me feel for the characters, where events happen that make me want to watch the next film

I think she often says she doesn’t like a film because it affects her emotionally, which means she DOES like it but is mad at it. Like all of us felt with this movie.

I am also questioning if Monica has watched enough movies or movie series to understand that these 23 movies would all add up to something epic in the end. Did you tell her this is near the end? It’s almost like she has never watched an 8-10 episode per season tv series that lasted 5-10 seasons where stuff happens but life goes on.

Thor deserves just as much blame as Quill for not going for the head or arm. After everything our heroes go through, Thor could of still stopped the snap from ever happening. But like Strange said, there was no other way.
