It's been a long time coming I know, but here is the first public access demo of

Shards of Eradine

since the in-game artwork was completely scrapped and we started over with a new team.

I've just played it through this morning and I hope it leaves you longing for more and excited to join the adventure to reunite the seals and free Eradine herself.

Some key points are:

  • The graphics are a little overly compressed as we've switched from mobile-first to get the PC build done instead so a lot of the textures are geared around mobile. The final PC version will be crystal clear all the way up to 4k as you can see from the assets we've shared here.
  • Its best played full screen at 1920x1080 - I tried at 4k this morning and it throws the in-house camera off
  • We're missing some all of the village micro bits like the chickens, butterflies on logs, mini animations that will really shine
  • Theres no soundtrack or audio yet so don't think your soundcard is fried!
  • The intro is the static version, not our animated short. We need a voice over and there are some issues with video in Unity 4

The intro itself doesn't include a battle as it doesnt form part of the story but if you go to the bottom left area of the home town, you will find an apple orchard. You can try out the battle wheel and battle scenes here!

The minimap, the internal progress menu and items etc are all in so have a dive in and see what you think.

If you're not a supporter and like what you see, please do become a Patreon as many of the future build will be Patreon only from here-in. Offbeatr supporters will get selected builds via mail too just FYI.

So alas, here it is. The download link!
