A big week in test this week with a handful of people stepping up and joining the team in the Big Test calamity! We're making some great progress in terms of finding the bugs, so good Id say its fair to say James and I are blown away by the quality of the testing so far.

The good news is it should massively increase the time to live at this point, and massively reduce the Post Live arrrrggghhhh moments with this degree of testing.

Hell, there are even some impressive suggestions and design features that already look like improving the QOL of Taps long term, with everything from typos to some great suggestions around fast click resource usage.

As mentioned earlier in the week, we've been let down by our primary test resources for go-live so anyone with even a little test experience or an aptitude for finding bugs is more than welcome to help by emailing support@cryptidtech.com to help out.

Once this stage is complete, there will be a brief beta period that I'll invite Discord members and Patreons to take part in (anyone with direct contact to us basically) then we're golden for Taps V2. And gin. Lots and lots of much needed gin.

Patreon Payments

I don't need to say much more at this point I guess so please check your payment provider to make sure they havent locked your card up first and foremost then check to see if your pledge has gone through for August. We're about 20% down on revenue even with the wave of new supporters (muchly appreciated!) so unfortunately thats probably a good number of people effected by this issue.

Smoke test, alpha, beta then live is the way I'dve gone personally with a multi-million dollar payments platform, rather than someone hitting F5 and saying "yeah... Im sure that will work..." but what do I know about developing software in the financial sector....

Oh wait! :D
