Its been a grinder of a week (nohomo) as I deep dive in to the last of the bug fixes for the huge new Taps update. I'm into the realms of tiny little fixes that solve a very minor issue that take 4 hours as I chase through the rabbit hole of code changes.

The good news is the latest build of the game is stable enough to go into test, which will be deployed for QA on Monday which hopefully should be kicking off immediately. Actual bug reports = easy fixes.

Anyway, this weeks team member updates has seen everything from updated Power Moves from James, new Fishing mini game icons, a short video of the current build for this and the latest animation frames from double handed weapons.

In brief:

  • Major overhaul of the animation system to accommodate the 3 levels of details syncing better - we found some fast click syncing issues making Cosmo look like a demented Bobblehead at times which should now be resolved.
  • Cosmo Power Move polish and further revision.
  • 37 icons for the fishing mini game
  • Bug fixes and general development improvements to the fishing mini game
  • Hindered by a broken leg, the two handed tree weapon animations are the only new weapons for the week
  • Confirmation on removing level cap from Nymphs - discussion internally around how to unlock post 10 levels vs overall balance
  • Interfaces now have headers removed with hover states replacing them
  • Super Nymphs show DPS and DMG stats, accounting for gallery bonus and all active boosters
  • Idle Zoom interface positioning bugs fixed
  • Rebirth server side credit bugs fixed
  • Debugging extension code to allow granular logging to help bug fixes and turn on/off for monitoring of data
  • Shards Convertor back to actually working bug fixes.
  • Boss Retry bugs fixed

Definitely in need of some respite after this release thats for damn sure... :D
