I did some practicing on female anatomy. The left ones are more of realistic approach to the figure's form. The right ones are how I would like to draw them with more cartooonic, deformed art style.

I sometimes wonder if I should try more realistic or at least anime way to draw characters. After all, these two are clearly the most acceptable and popular styles around the world. On the other hand, my old time art teacher taught me that once I developed a style, I should not abandon it because that's what make me unique among all other countless artists in the world.

Hm, as a thought, maybe do both based on the commissions? Even maybe do a commission tier where you can get both body types for one character?

Indeed it is true: realistic models are extremely beautiful to look at. But even their cartoon related versions are extremely cute. Honestly, I don't know what to choose: the shape of the legs of Sunset is fantastic; instead she's cartoon counterpart is extremely adorable. I think you could try to blend the two styles in the same scene, giving the "serious" character, the realistic style. For example: Twilight Velvet (or another mother), is a serious but loving, realistic style; T. Sparkle (for example, child) who does things, cared for by Velvet, in cartoon style. It would be a nice way to merge two different styles in the same work. A bit like this animation: realistic characters (somebody is ambiguous) and a kitten-like Miku, who does things... It's just an example I used = ^ ˽ ° =

That's not a bad idea. Though I probably need to do a couple of realistic style artworks to show what I'm capable of and estimate how much time I need to complete one for setting the price.

To be honest. I'm not sure how well the two might look putting together. My drawing isn't exactly Chibi. But I can certainly try nonetheless. By the way, I just learned a little bit of 3D myself using Blender. I learned slow, but there might be a time I'll upload an 3D artwork! :)
