These type of audios are always a favorite. I sometimes get chest-tightening anxiety or depressing thoughts when I’m trying to fall asleep. Listening to these, all of those thoughts or feelings go away and I’m knocked out the second I press play. 💤💖✨

Pah, "overanalyzing things", my foot! The life of a rain drop is an important part of the hydrologic cycle, and pondering such a topic is both interesting and educational! ☝️🤓 You see, it all starts when water vapour rises from the Earth’s surface into the atmosphere 🌫 It then eventually cools and condenses to form cloud droplets ☁️ As more and more vapour condenses, the droplets become larger and soon become too heavy to stay suspended within the cloud. At this point it falls to the ground as rain 🌧, unless the air temperature within the cloud is below freezing point (0°C, or 32°F for our American friends). In that instance ice crystals will form instead, and they will fall as snow provided that the surrounding air temperature remains at or below freezing point on the way down to the Earth’s surface ❄️ After the rain drop has made its glorious descent through the troposphere and meandered artistically down one’s window, it will ultimately evaporate or, if it lands in the right spot, become part of the groundwater. Regardless of which path it chooses, the rain drop will continue its merry way through the hydrologic cycle, which can be seen as a metaphor for the beautiful continuity of life and the universe 🧐 (Okay, I may have BS’d that last bit about metaphors. Thank you for this awesomeness to fall asleep to, as I listen its also raining outside, and as the rain sounds started I had to look up to make sure rain wasn't coming thru the window. My normal days off are Sunday/Monday and today was a long day, fellowship had our whats supposed to be end of summer BBQ, and its supposed to still be in the 70's, but around the first the flip was switched and it went from summer to late October and we barely made it to 60 today, I would be in the wrong state if I didn't like rain, but I like more of a transition into fall, I had to put back on my long pants 3 weeks ago and it made me sad. Sadly I have to work tomorrow, but I have Tuesday off, so I may make that my lay day and at one point listen to this again and have a nice cozy nap. Thank you again and hope you get to have an actual lazy day yourself soon.

Your jokes are horrible Gael but I adore and prefer them over any other jokes. You make me laugh anyways. Now I’d love to give this audio another listen or two or three or four or five or 100s of times, but when I’m alone you know bc it’s a bit difficult when you have someone around you. This not only helped me sleep but it also touched on something that nearly made me cry. I haven’t had a truly lazy day like this in .... years? Even when kiddos are away I always feel compelled to stay on top of laundry, make lists, clean something, haul toys and clothes to the thrift shop, work in the yard. Oh I can watch TV like nobody’s business, but always with the shadow in my mind of “what should I be doing right now?” Perhaps this is my reminder to guard my lazy time better — guard it from the outside and also from my own inner bossy pants. Also, it hasn’t rained here for weeks, it’s too hot, and I miss the sound of rain and I miss my socks and leggings and tea. Thank you for this, G, you are giving us more gifts than you know 💝💝💝

Exactly lovely Heidi the breathing throughout the audio with along with the rain and his movement in bed aaaaaahhhhh feels like he's really there with you.. I had to tuck my blanket from behind to have this close to reality feeling with this audio 😍😍😍 I wonder though.... What would a Seanie version of this be like 🤔🤔.. Here's my thoughts.. heavy breathing, snoring, speaking to himself while a sleep, a lot of bed movement, drooling, pulls blanket and pillows towards him, probably some burps and long farts with soft sounds from time to time 😂😂😂
